 Final concept: sausage plane v1

My thoughts: I decided to refine the sausage because I feel like I could do more to make it resemble a sausage that could actually fly. I added an interior of the plane which has seats and a wheel. I added a propeller on the front and made it look more like it's a retro kind of airplane. overall I feel good about the changes I made.

This object is related to remix because it is used two different items of distinction and made a concept out of it Eg: (sausage and retro plane)

Since the last critique, I was notified by some peers that I should add more things to an object to make it more resemble what is supposed to be referred to, and here it is. I do realize my work is hard to tell what is going on, so for example in my sausage plane update, I added a guard for the propeller to make it more look like a real plane. though I do find it difficult to use a mesh mixer, I tried my best to sculpt things based on just primitive shapes rather than importing all presets, as I believe this would enhance my learning in the long run.

inner bucket for pen   make 2d with taps version unrolled pen / unrolled pen with taps                                                          pen holder with taps unrolled version Pen holder unrolled version with taps I down-scaled both to fit them on a 8.5x11inch paper Update: I did a hand curve version, but that went bad as it doesn't stick together due to the fact the hidden line is just too small for me to make permanent dents, and later I went to get help from our class technician who kindly showed me how to use a laser cutter, I was able to get a better-crafted version of unfolding. Update: I cannot complete the prototype because of my miscalculation in the making process, I ignore the fact that the fold lines are way too close to each other, and when printed onto 8.5 x 11-inch paper, it's almost impossible for me to think of a wa...

Papercraft revision / prototype

                                                                      Laser cutting revision prototype  The prototype is made up of pure solid blocks for me to understand how basically I should put this together. In the revisioned version, I added the inside structure and sockets for the pen. However, I miscalculated the diameter of the socket, making the cap a little too small, therefore it can not be completely socketed. overall, I think there is much to improve on, but I'm satisfied with the result considering my first attempt ended in a hot mess.
