Article: New Flexible Paper Sculptures by Li Hongbo

The author, Li Hong Bo, is a skilled artist who moulds idealism heads or figures from the papers. One work is sufficient to show the sheer dedication with which someone can obtain a seemingly unachievable strategy to a new yet innovative way of solving a problem.

I feel a strong connection to this artist not because he could make sculptures out of paper, but because the artist LI Hong Bo is a dedicated draughtsman who is willing to devote countless hours studying the foundations of art, in this instance he exceled at portraying the anatomy and plane of the study of the great sculptures, after that he focused on finding a creative solution to beautify the already impressive sculpture on its own, which is what I want to aim for in the distant future.

When no action is taken, nothing is set in stone. the fate of something is determined by discovery, and such works are destined to be produced. Artists should always have this mindset when dealing with any artform; we want to create, and we discover what we can truly do after years of hard work and practice. because at that point, a difficult task will appear easy, or even creating an artwork from scratch will invoke the feeling that the work is fated to become a creation rather than spending mental energy or effort to decorate something that is fundamentally flawed from the start.
